Forfar Farmington U13s prepare for their kick off to the Lucy Graham U14 league and their first experience of competitive 11 a side football.

Coach, Stephen Donaldson commented, “ We are looking forward to the challenge of our upcoming season. There is no doubt the move to 11 a side will test the girls and the coaches after the restructuring of the leagues meant we only played one year at competitive 7 a side and we are still a young team in comparison to others in the league but it’s a challenge we are willing to embrace.

The girls have been together a few seasons now, they train twice a week even in the winter months and are motivated to do well. We have prepared well with a number of pre-season fixtures and started our league cup campaign with a victory last week.

With support of our parents and team sponsors we are looking forward to an enjoyable and fun season.
