Starting with this Sunday’s game against Spartans, our matchday programme will be available to view online for the first time.
The programme has only been available to those that have attended games since it was first printed but the club has taken the decision to switch from print to online.
The SBSSWPL1 side’s media officer Lee Smith explained the decision: “With ways to connect with people rapidly increasing, we are always looking for new ideas to improve the club’s social media footprint.”
“Although it has always been traditional to be able to go to a game and have a programme to read at half time, the reach available with a digital programme is that much greater. Having spoken to some clubs who have already made the switch from printed to digital, it felt like the right decision was to make the programmes available online.”
“Going digital will allow us to expand from the usual twelve pages and improve what some people feel is one of the best programmes in women’s football in this country.”
If you are attending Sunday’s game at Station Park, you will have the chance to purchase the final printed version of our matchday programme. This 12 page publication is available for just £1.00 and can be found at the shop.
This programme will be published online on Saturday afternoon.
