The club are delighted to announce our 4th new signing for 2020 with Anne Metz coming in from USA, pending international clearance
Anne has graduated from John Brown University in Arkansas and was team captain in her senior year with them. In her Junior and Senior Year she made 1st Team All Conference and also in her Senior Year she made 1st Team, All American with honourable mention. She finished top scorer for JBU in the 2019 season. She has also played in the Women’s Premier Soccer League for Shreveport Lady Rafters and AHFC Royals.
Head Coach Ryan McConville has worked with Anne before and is looking forward to welcoming her to Forfar – he commented “I am over the moon to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing hard working player again. We shared a great season at the Lady Rafters in Louisiana and I hope to replicate this at Forfar. Anne is a fantastic athlete with so many qualities and I know she will give her absolute best for this club and her new teammates “
